Debate Club is Sydney’s premier debating and public speaking tutoring college. To cater to students from year 1 to 12 across varying degrees of skills, our classes are broadly categorised into two levels: regular and advanced. Students who wish to improve their academic grades and are perhaps looking to try their hand at a leadership position at school would do well within the regular classes. Students who wish to be selected for their school debating team, state debating team, and possibly the national debating team, would do well within the advanced classes.
Growth comes from being being pushed outside of our comfort zone. But too much of a push is counter-productive; there is a sweet-spot optimum somewhere in between.
At Debate Club, we do this by fostering a class environment for students of simliar skill levels so that each and every student improves through peer-to-peer encouragement and growth.
Students feel comfortable in speaking up with confidence and pushing their boundaries within a welcoming, encouraging, and inclusive environment.
Debating and Public Speaking are milestones that every student goes through at some point during their academic career. The skills learnt here translate into virtually every career path well into adulthood:

Beyond improving academic grades in school, these “soft-skills” are the real life-skills that help every student better adjust into their future career, adulthood, and beyond.
It’s not easy to commit to a full term or semester of coaching, especially if the student is looking to get tutored for the first time.
We offer trial classes for just the ones of interest to the student, so that they can get a taste for the entire program before deciding to fully commit. No obligation to continue, and subject to availability.
