My opinions get ignored when I'm with friends who are more loud and confident than I am.
I am afraid of speaking in front of people or in crowds
I want to take up a leadership role at school
Up to 75% of the population have a fear of public speaking. Yet, students find themselves in situations where they must present in front of their cohort and the public: project presentations, poetry recitals, school assemblies, the list goes on.
But beyond speaking eloquently and with charisma in front of a crowd, public speaking teaches students how to find their own voice, build their confidence, and to become student leaders.

Learning the Dialogic Theory of Public Speaking teaches students that public speaking is a two-way dialogue between speaker and audience, and improves their understanding of how to become a better communicator.
Overcoming the fear of speaking in front of people is one of the biggest challenges students will face. However, when they do, the level of confidence students have for themselves is something that will stay with them for a lifetime.
All our coaches are former public speaking competition winners. With real-life, practical experience under their belts, they are able to coach students in a way that those without the experience cannot.
To be a leader means to, at times, rouse those you lead into action. Learning the skills of Public Speaking better equips students to take up leadership positions at school, which not only looks good on paper, but also shines through them in day-to-day life.
Students learn as much from individual focused feedback from our public speaking coaches, as they do from fellow students. Our group and individual coaching provides the benefit of both to all students.
Just like sports, public speaking competitions puts students' public speaking skills to the test against the best and brightest. Our focused training helps students perform their best at several speaking competitions.
