Harvard Model UN Student Delegation

Do you want to fight injustice and stand up for what’s right?

Do you have a driving passion to affect real change in the world?

Do you believe that diplomacy and smart policy is the way to achieve this?

Join our delegation to the world renowned Harvard Model UN conference and experience how the best and  brightest students from across the world, just like you, are looking to change the world.

What It Is

The Harvard Model UN is an annual event held by Harvard University that brings together high school from across the world to pariticpate in international relations and policy debate, directly simulating the United Nations General Debate.

Top students representing their countries will be in attendance, including students from across Australia.

Who It's For

High School Students wishing to:

  • Represent Australia in one of the most prestigious model conferences in the world.
  • Gain first-hand experience in international relations and diplomacy.
  • Put their english, debating, and public speaking skills learnt from Debate Club to the test against the best and brightest students from around the world.
  • Experience a once in a lifetime opportunity to meet and connect with lifelong friends, some of whom will become future leaders of the world.

How It Helps

Build Self-Confidence by applying what they’ve learnt from Debate Club against top students from across the world.

Gain Invaluable Life Experience by helping students become better rounded people aware of social, political, and international and diplomatic issues that the world faces.

Our Students walk away from these experiences realising that the so-called “best and brightest” are not very different from them, giving them the self-confidence to face bigger challenges and to scale greater heights.

What We Do

We send a group of students to the model United Nations conference at Harvard University in late January each year, where a member of our team based at Harvard acts as their guide.

Our Team includes best delegate prize winners at the Harvard MUN, and prize winners at Australian Model UN conferences such as the UN state and national conference.

Students Enrol for a term of preparation, which involves lectures, policy discussions, simulations, and speeches, ahead of intensive on-site training in Boston.

From Sydney to Harvard: End-To-End Support

We organise the application, logistics – including flights, accomodation, insurance – required before and during the event, and tour with our in-house guide at Harvard.

This way, students only need to worry about their own preparation, and parents have the peace of mind knowing that their children are in good hands while they get to experience a once in a lifetime opportunity with brilliant young minds from across the world.
